Charlotte Tilbury's New Collection Will Have Totally Different Packaging (And It's Refillable Too)
This post has been updated with new information
Update: Charlotte Tilbury's new Hot Lips 2 collection launch is getting closer, and it looks nothing like the original Hot Lips collection. On Wednesday, Tilbury shared a selection of the 11 lipsticks on her Instagram feed, which included 11 lipsticks and a new Hydrating Clear Lipstick that's packed with shea butter, jojoba wax, and aloe vera. She also gave us a sneak peek of the entire Hot Lips 2 line on her Instagram stories, showing off the line up of different hues including a pink red, wine red, and a soft pink.
Not only will the new collection bring a bunch of shades that we'll desperately
want need, but it will also offer refillable packaging for the first time, too. Allowing for total customisation, you can choose from one of five tubes in a selection of chic animal prints and the perfect lipstick shade to match. The collection launches June 18, and be sure to sign up for wait list for early access.
Original post: Charlotte Tilbury has a knack of making us
want need each and every one of her new collections. The original Hot Lips lipsticks, loved by many, paid homage to 12 of Tilbury's celebrity clients, and it turns out the collection is coming back for round two in just a few short weeks.
Three years ago, the original Hot Lips collection donated a portion of profits to the charity Women For Women International. Hot Lips 2.0 goes a step further with an even bigger charity pledge. Today on Instagram Stories, Tilbury announced a £1 million pledge to the organisation, which is committed to helping female survivors of war rebuild their lives, for which Tilbury's been an ambassador since 2016.
"A lipstick can change a life because if you can change how a woman feels, you can change a community, and you change the world!" Tilbury said in a press release explaining the initiative and announcing the Hot Lips 2.0 launch. "Charlotte Tilbury's support has helped hundreds of women survivors of war graduate from our year-long training programme with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency," added Brita Fernandez Schmidt, senior vice president for global partnerships of Women for Women International.
Like the original Hot Lips collection, the lipsticks will be inspired by women (and maybe men, too) whom Tilbury has both worked with and been influenced by, but no details have been released yet as to who those people are. Hot Lips 2.0 launches June 18, and we can't wait to see whose "bottled DNA" will arrive in a beautiful Charlotte Tilbury bullet next month.
